To become an extra in a film in the UK, you should join an extra's agency. There will be loads of these close to you if you live near London. find one you like, go to their website etc and go through the necessary application process. Supporting artist agencies as their properly known are pretty easy to get into as well. once your on their books, they will phone you from time to time asking if your free to do days on tv series or films. it normally will be at short notice as well so before you decide to apply I would consider how much free time you have and how thick your skin is. because as an extra there will be absolutley no frills and long days standing around!
