Myself, father, mother have our names on safety deposit box.. Titled with OR so can act independently. I have a full power of Att. for my mother as well as father but.. my mom now has alzheimer and my father wants me to use POA and remove mom's name off box just in case someone decides to take her to bank=box and removes something. The bank said I can not remove her name even with poa. no way to do this..Is this correct ?? thanks

It really depends on the power given to you in the POA. If it does not state that this is something you can do, then they are correct. You need to have an attorney review what you have.
