My girlfriend has a daughter and that daughter has a year and a half old daughter. My question is can my girlfriends daughter and her daughter move into my girlfriends house without fear of having the baby taken away from her if I am convicted of sexual misconduct with a minor? A little background on me is I was convicted in 2000 served my time and have never been in trouble other than this conviction.
