What is the best way to settle a lawsuit against me by capital one? They wont settle for a reasonable amount.

I don't think anyone can tell you how to do this without reviewing the underlying matter and the lawsuit. You may or may not have defenses that may cause the collection agency to rethink their lawsuit and want to negotiate with you.
