Nope never tried it may be good, may be not, depending on your vehicle (gas/diesel etc) i do recommend "SeaFoam" for gasoline vehicles which is sold almost everywhere where they sell auto parts here in the U.S. I used it on my car that i parked at my uncles and my little cousin decided to open the gas cap when it rained. the car would hesitate and i used seafoam and it worked like a charm, its used for boats but lots of people use it in cars as well. If you have lots of water in the tank and the car won't run at all and you believe its because of water, then most fuel tanks have an Allen drain plug somewhere on the bottom on one of the sides... just follow common sense safety precautions (don't smoke, watch for static electricity , before starting to drain gas touch a metal pole going underground) then proceed to drain the tank with the gas cap open, after draining completely retighten drain plug/gas cap, add the Seafoam and fresh gas then off you go! good luck....
