My husband has temporary custody of his son right now because the ex gave him up for a year to live with us and then wanted to take him back. Now that she has gotten her life in order can the child be given back to her easy? He has been living with us two years and we dont want to lose him just because she finally got her stuff in order.
Answer
If there is a court order governing child custody that order governs. If you want it changed, you will have to go to court to do so.
