Question

I bought a car from a guy. Weekly payments. Always on time. Car breaks down. I get it fixed and it cost 700. Only to break down again on same day. Guy takes back car only to tell me that he cannot fix it so I'm out of a car and the total of 2200 that was paid that is the total amount for payments and repairs

Answer

If the guy is not a regular commercial seller of vehicles, the Lemon Law would not apply. The correct applicable phrase is "Let the Buyer Beware".

But you should at least be given your (non-working) car back.

Good luck!
