Question

My father is in a nursing home recovering from a stroke. He is still able to make decisions for himself and has not sign off power of attorney. I have been living in the house prior to the stroke. In the case of his death, I get half of the house and and my sister gets the other half. My question is that her husband is trying be over authoritive over the property so what rights do I currently have

Answer

If dad can make decisions for himself, is not mentally incompetent, he has all the rights. you have none. Nor does your sister or brother in law.
