My wife and I are going to go through a disillusionment of our marriage and I just received a letter from her lawyer which outlined her ideas for what she think the agreement should be. My question is, how long do i have to respond to this letter?

It does not sound like it's a formal court pleading, so there is no set amount of time that you must respond to the letter. It sounds more like it is an outline of what your wife wants detailed in your Settlement Agreement. It might be a good idea to have any proposal reviewed by your lawyer as well. Even if a settlement can be reached, it is best to have an attorney looking out for your interests.

The restraining order controls his conduct, not your conduct. You cannot violate the restraining order.
His threats to take the child and leave the area makes him an abduction threat. The felonies and misdemeanors he has been convicted, may have a huge affect on custody and may have little affect on custody. A domestic violence conviction will restrict his contact with the child.
His immigration case makes his future unknown. He may be deported.
More information would be needed to provide a better answer. His criminal record listing the crimes, and information about your back ground. This information must be factored into the possible result of a custody battle.

A friend of mine has violated his probation (in place for a misdemeanor marijuana charge) by absconding when he moved out of state for 3 years.. Now he wants to resolve these issues, but we want to know what to expect as far as punishment or options are when he goes to turn himself in. my husband's first wife died. the property that we want to put a septic system on is being held up because the woman in charge says that my husband is not immediate family on the property that was left to his first wife. she was alive 15 years from the date that the property was signed over to her and my husband. according to US standards he is considered family. what does Pa. law say?

I don't give a hoot as to what US standards say. What is on the deed and what does it say? That is what is controlling here.
If your husband and his first wife were deeded a piece of land and owned the land as a tenancy by the entireties (i.e., as husband and first wife), then the land passed to your husband automatically upon the death of the first wife and he can do what he wants with it. It does not matter whether they owned it for 15 years or 15 minutes - if it is Pennsylvania land owned by the entireties then it is your husband's.
Why is some other woman in charge? Who is she? What do you mean by "she's in charge?" Of what? And the fact that she proclaims to be in charge suggests that something is not right with the deed. You had best go to a real estate attorney after you get a copy of the deed from the recorder of deeds at the courthouse in the county where the land is located.
