Where in Great Britain besides London can you go?
If you love dramatic scenery and tranquillity think about the Scottish Highlands, Wales, and the English Lake District. Culture vultures should go to Edinburgh particularly during the Edinburgh Festival, whilst the major cities of Glasgow, Cardiff, Birmingham and Manchester offer shopping and nightlife galore. The ancient walled city of York should be on the agenda of history lovers as should the stunning university cities of Cambridge and Oxford. In fact, if you're pushed for time, you could ignore London completely.
