Is there a law or statue that states that if the parents signs a release of minor form. The minor is still able to recoup additional if additional injuries surface until he/ she is 18.. The insurance adjuster is advising me of this but I can't find it anywhere in the states of florida... I just don't want to sign the Minor release from and settle for a small amount and end up making the wrong discussion for my son



Answer

Without a court order you cannot sign a valid release for a minor.
