You bought a used 96 Pontiac grand am se car but the car's instrument cluster does not work so you bought another used instrument cluster And when you changed it on the anti-thefy system seems work it?
If you mean the cluster wont work and the theft light just flashes, heres what to do...Make sure all accessories are off and the battery has a good charge. Turn the key like your quick starting it and leave the key in the position it would be in if the car was sitting idling. Leave it for about 10 minutes or until the light stops flashing. This should reset your security system. Turn back off and try to start again. We had the same thing happen to us and this is what a mechanic told us to do and amazingly it worked!
